JR. HAT TRICKS FALL TO TITANS IN NEW JERSEY

MIDDLETOWN, NJ  – After two even periods, the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (12-40-3-0, 27 pts) fell 5-1 to the New Jersey Titans (40-13-3-0, 83 pts) on Wednesday night.

The first period remained scoreless, and after 40 minutes both teams were tied at one. Danbury had many power-play opportunities, and Boris Skalos was able to cash in on one. Skalos was assisted by Gabe Dombrowski and Luka Sukovic late in the second period.

During the third period, the Titans broke away after scoring on a power play and adding an empty-net goal. Goaltender Adam Johnson faced 32 shots, recording an .875 save percentage.

The Jr. Hat Tricks will host one final series on Friday and Saturday as they take on the Jamestown Rebels (32-21-2-1, 67 pts). The following weekend, Danbury will hit the road as they head to Pennsylvania to close the regular season against the Johnstown Tomahawks (31-19-4-2, 68 pts).
