ATTLEBORO, MA – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (10-33-3-0, 23 pts) fell 5-0 to the Northeast Generals (28-20-0-1, 57 pts) on Saturday night during their last trip to Massachusetts for the regular season.

Although the shots on goal were nearly even for both teams, Danbury was unable to capitalize on its power-play opportunities. Goaltender Connor McDonough was tested often in net for Danbury, making 32 saves.

The Hat Tricks held on to keep pressure on Northeast late into the third period. With an empty-net, Danbury looked to get on the board trailing by three, but Northeast found the puck and scored into the empty net for the Generals’ fourth goal.

Saturday was the final game of a five-game road trip for the Jr. Hat Tricks. They will return to home ice again on March 16 when they will face the New Jersey Titans (34-12-2-0, 70 pts). The puck is set to drop at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and can be seen live on HockeyTV.
